At only 36 inches in height by 15 inches in width (91cm x 38cm) this is one of the smaller versions of this sign as mostly they are significantly bigger. This single sided enamel sign is advertising Palethorpes Sausages To-Day which is rather quirky as it is not the way we would say it today! In mint condition these signs sell for over a thousand pounds but this one has lost its gloss and I think it has some restoration undertaken but its not obvious so I am edging on the side of caution. Note the makers name Imperial Enamel Co Birmingham in the lower left hand corner.
