We have all seen this sign in garages over the years and all over the country. We know that Michelin changed the background colour, changed the tyre and the famous Mr Bibendum as well as changing the material the sign was made from over the course of time.
This particular version is one of the earliest you will see, it made from enamel on steel, the background colour is ink black and from the tyre it looks to be 1960’s.
The sign measures 18 inches in height and 78 inches in length. There are some chips here and there but overall this is a great sign.
