Date of manufacture for this sign is December 1955 as marked on the front of this sign. This is a good example of the ever so popular “Michelin Man” or as he is known in France Mr Bibendum, also note the design number on the rear matching to the front.
This single sided folded edged enamel sign measures 3 feet in height by 2 feet in width (82 cm x 61 cm) . The more observant may have noticed the other smaller and older sign that I have and have spotted the different tyre being displayed….or maybe you have not.
