This lovely 1920’s double sided enamel on steel sign is in the very unusual turquoise blue and is so rarely seen. The sign has the makers name “BRUTON, PALMERS GREEN, N” which is just visible in the lower right hand corner.
The gloss on this signs is truly stunning with only some fading on the white lettering on one side. The sign has been reflanged at time in its life, not that this takes anything away from this signs presence. This is one of those signs that needs to be given a prominent place in the collection as the colour and gloss will draw comment from those that see it.
