Here is a rare thing and certainly something different. Looking at the construction this looks to have been made around the 1950s and seems to be an indoor piece advertising ALVIS who made cars between 1919 through to the mid 196os. Interestingly they are back making cars in the traditional way using the old methods.
This signs frame is wooden as are the letters which have then been screwed to a back plate made of tin or alloy. The sign measures 62 inches across the top and it is 40 inches at the tallest point (where the lowest point is) (158 cm x 102 cm).
