A very rare and early AA Motor Park directional rectangular double sided enamel sign, with excellent gloss, 25.5 inches by 8 inches (64.5cm x 20cm). This truly stunning sign has never been displayed, the enamel around the fixing holes is evidence of that. Note that there are 2 fixing holes on one end.
I wonder why the AA choose to use the words “Motor Park” as opposed to the RAC using the words “Car Park”?
This sign has come from a private collector that seemed to have specialised in New Old Stock signs, these are signs that were issued for use but then never used.
