Here we have an incredible find and what must be one of the best surviving examples from the 1950’s of a McVitie’s metal (probably tin) and card shop display sign. The image takes you right back (except we never had a parrot!) to the good old days.
The makers mark (the metal box company) is on the lower lip on the back of the sign)
This sign measures 18.5 inches in width by 14 inches in height (47 cm x 36 cm)
